Developing and maintaining clear, written employment policies and compliant onboarding procedures are key parts of administering the employment relationship. When done in a thoughtful and timely manner, unambiguous and up to date policies help ensure that employers set expectations among employees, have a foundation for disciplinary actions, provide employees with legally required notices and information, and accurately communicate employee benefits.
