DEAR IP SECTION MEMBERS,
I wanted to start by taking a moment to say that my thoughts, and the thoughts of all of us here at the IP Section, are with all those impacted by the tragic wildfires in the Los Angeles area. There are very few of us who do not have colleagues, family, friends, or loved ones who have been impacted by these catastrophic fires. We offer our condolences to all of those people who have been impacted by these horrific events. For those in need of legal assistance, the State Bar of California offers a number of free resources which can be found at the following link: https://www.calbar.ca.gov/Public/Free-Legal-Information/Legal-Help-After-a-Disaster.
In the face of this unbelievable adversity, the way California has come together as a community in response to this disaster has been truly inspiring. I have been blown away by the generosity and kindness of the people around me.
