The CLA Family Law Section continues promoting access to justice and improving the overall practice of family law through education, mentorship, and legislation. The following are some highlights of the things we have been accomplishing.
Flexcom is presenting a fabulous program called No Holds Barred. The program will run in four different areas of California: the first offering is in Irvine, CA on October 17, 2025. This program will next take place in Walnut Creek, CA on October 25, 2025. The program will again take place in Pismo Beach, CA on November 7, 2025 and the final presentation will be held in Fresno, CA on November 21, 2025. The Education Committee has worked extremely hard to put together this incredible educational opportunity and we are looking forward to a large turnout throughout California.
Also, upcoming webinars will be provided on a range of topics including LGBTQ, and Immigration-related issues. Also coming this year is the intersection of family law and real property law and the Hague Convention on wrongful removal and abduction. Additionally, planning has already commenced for producing even more webinars and another in-person education event to take place in Fall 2026.
