Privacy + AI Lab Sponsorship Packages

The Privacy Law Section is excited to host the Privacy + AI Lab at the prestigious UC Berkeley Faculty Club on Friday, October 10th, 2025. This event provides a unique opportunity to engage in advanced legal topics.

The CLA will publicize the Privacy + AI Lab to its 1,200+ members through a variety of channels, including email correspondence and social media platforms. The Privacy + AI Lab is a new and exciting workshop in Northern California, and we anticipate strong participation from privacy practitioners in the region.

General Sponsorship Opportunities

The following sponsorship opportunities are available for the 2025 Privacy + AI Lab. All sponsorships include recognition on the CLA website, the option for sponsors to provide their own signage, and one printed sign provided by CLA. Each sponsor will also have a dedicated sponsor table during their designated time slot.

• Lanyard Sponsor – $4,000
  Includes distribution of sponsor-branded lanyards to all registrants at check-in.
• Breakfast Sponsor – $3,000
  Includes logo placement on the CLA website, prominent signage during breakfast, and a dedicated sponsor table from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
• Morning Coffee & Pastries Break Sponsor – $2,000
  Includes logo placement on the CLA website, prominent signage at the coffee and refreshments station and a dedicated sponsor table from 10:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.
• Lunch Sponsor – $5,000
  Includes logo placement on the CLA website, prominent signage during lunch, and a dedicated sponsor table from 12:15 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
• Afternoon Coffee & Pastries Break Sponsor – $2,000
  Includes logo placement on the CLA website, prominent signage at the coffee and refreshments station and a dedicated sponsor table from 3:00 p.m. to 3:15 p.m.
• Reception Sponsor – $5,000
  Includes logo placement on the CLA website, prominent signage during the reception, and a dedicated sponsor table from 4:45 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  
  

Sponsorship Policies

The Privacy + AI Lab sponsorships are subject to the following policies.

The CLA and the Privacy Law Section retain and exercise full control over the sponsored event as well as all CLA and Privacy Law Section materials. No sponsor may be permitted to control the content of the sponsored event, or any publications or materials produced by the CLA or the Privacy Law Section.

The identity or presence of the CLA and Privacy Law Section must predominate and must never be compromised or confused by association with the sponsor. The CLA and Privacy Law Section logos must not be used in conjunction with a sponsor’s product or service without express written permission of the CLA. The CLA’s name and logo should never be used in such a manner as to express or imply an endorsement by the CLA or Privacy Law Section of a sponsor’s product, publication, or service.

Acknowledgment must not be so extensive as to suggest the sponsor ‘owns’ or ‘controls’ the sponsored event or CLA/Privacy Law Section’s programs, products, or events. Descriptions of the relationship must not imply endorsement. Terms like ‘exclusive,’ ‘partner,’ ‘preferred,’ or ‘endorsed’ must not be used.

The Annual Privacy + AI Lab hosted by the Privacy Law Section of the California Lawyers Association is presented with the generous support of ABC Company and additional sponsors.

ABC Company is a proud sponsor of the California Lawyers Association’s Annual Privacy + AI Lab.

The exact parameters of signage, table-top exhibitions, and other visual material shall be determined by the CLA and the Privacy Law Section in conjunction with sponsors, subject to the ultimate discretion of the CLA and the Privacy Law Section.

Sponsors may market sponsored events with the approval of the Privacy Law Section.

All sponsors, acknowledgments, and events are subject to approval at the sole discretion of the CLA and the Privacy Law Section.
