Indonesia Commits to Stronger Intellectual Property Framework at WIPO Meeting

Justice Minister Supratman Andi Agtas reaffirmed Indonesia’s commitment to accelerating digital transformation in order to enhance intellectual property (IP) protection, during the 66th General Assembly of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in Geneva, Switzerland. He stressed that Indonesia’s push for digitalization in the IP sector is a strategic response to the rapid evolution of technology and the innovation-driven global economy. All IP-related services in Indonesia are now fully digital, covering application submission, post-application processing, complaint handling, and information requests.
