A Message from the Chair: A Year in Reflection

Alexandra O’Neill Muller

As this year comes to a close, I have the privilege of reflecting on my time as Chair of the Family Law Executive Committee. Serving in this role has been both an honor and a deeply rewarding experience.

Our Committee has accomplished a great deal together. We continued to strengthen the Family Law Section’s voice within the California Lawyers Association, provided timely educational programs and resources to support our colleagues across the state, and engaged in thoughtful dialogue on the ever-evolving issues that impact our courts, our clients, and our profession. None of this would have been possible without the dedication of each of our talented and committed members.

I am especially proud of the collaborative spirit that defined our work. Whether advancing legislative priorities, building bridges with other sections and committees, or mentoring newer attorneys who are finding their place in family law, we consistently worked toward goals that extend beyond ourselves. That spirit of service and innovation is what makes this Committee so special.

As I step aside, I am filled with gratitude for the friendships, insights, and inspiration I have gained. I know the Committee is in excellent hands, and I am excited to see the new leadership continue to build on our successes and take us even further.

Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to serve. It has been one of the highlights of my professional journey.

With appreciation and resolve,

Alexandra O’Neill Muller, CFLS
