T.J. Hope is a Managing Director at Stout, specializing in business valuation, financial modeling, and transaction opinions across a wide range of industries, including emerging and regulated markets such as cannabis.
With more than 20 years of valuation experience, he provides expert analysis for litigation, corporate transactions, shareholder disputes, and marital dissolution matters where accurate valuation is critical. His work includes the preparation of fairness opinions, economic damage assessments, and valuations of closely-held companies, including those with unique characteristics that may precipitate a less traditional approach to valuation.
T.J. regularly works with counsel to ensure that he has access to the financial and operational data required to assess business value properly. He has spoken in various forums and authored numerous articles on topics including valuation, transactions, and financial opinions, and serves as a valuation resource for attorneys navigating complex business analysis.

Kimberly R. Simms is a leading California cannabis attorney with over 15 years of experience representing cannabis operators, licensees, investors, and ancillary businesses in a rapidly evolving legal landscape. As Founder of The Law Office of Kimberly R. Simms, APC, she advises clients statewide on regulatory compliance, entity formation, mergers and acquisitions, local licensing, and ongoing operational risk management. Kimberly has been at the forefront of cannabis policy since the early collective model era and has played an active role in shaping regulatory discussion as the industry transitioned into full legalization.
She has served as a board member of the California Cannabis Industry Association and co-chaired its Retail & Delivery Committee, and she is a long-standing member and presenter for the International Cannabis Bar Association. Kimberly regularly speaks on cannabis business structure, licensing challenges, legal compliance, and the intersection between cannabis operations and traditional legal sectors. Colleen A. Warren is a Certified Family Law Specialist and Founding Partner of Genesis Family Law, where she focuses exclusively on family law litigation.
