UCLA Emmett Institute Annual Symposium
Can Abundance Be Sustainable? Merging Affordability and Climate Policy – April 3, 2026, 8:00am-4:00pm, UCLA Law
Can abundance be sustainable? Join us for the UCLA Emmett Institute’s annual symposium as we seek to tackle this question. Through a keynote talk and three panel discussions, we will focus on the intersection of affordability and environmental protections, paying particular attention to electricity generation, the transition away from fossil fuels, and affordable housing. The event runs 8:00am to 4:00pm on Friday, April 3. We’ll continue the conversation with a reception in the courtyard. The conference is free and open to all, but registration is required, and we do expect the event to fill up. For additional details and to register, please visit the symposium website.
