Free On-Demand MCLE Program for March
The California Lawyers Association offers a monthly complimentary on-demand MCLE program to CLA members. The MCLE program for March will be “Lock It Down: Data Security, Ethics & Best Practices for Growing Law Firms.” As your law firm grows, so does your exposure to cyber threats – and your ethical obligations to safeguard client data. Solo and small firm attorneys often wear multiple hats, but cybersecurity can’t be an afterthought. This session breaks down what you must know (and do) to meet your legal, professional, and ethical duties regarding data security. This webinar will cover how to build a security-conscious culture, even with a small team, and what California’s Rules of Professional Conduct require of solo practitioners. Whether you’re storing files in the cloud, managing remote staff, or handling sensitive client communications, this session will give you a clear plan to protect your practice from digital disasters. This free program offers 0.75 hours of participatory MCLE credit, including 0.75 hours of Legal Ethics credit, and is available on the CLA website.
