Allison Berk is an attorney in Dickenson, Peatman & Fogarty’s Intellectual Property group. Her practice focuses on the prosecution and enforcement of client trademark rights, including trademark clearance, prosecution of applications for registration before the United States Patent and Trademark Office, and enforcement. Allison has litigation experience representing clients in federal court and before the Trademark Trial and Appeals Board.Â
Allison earned her J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law. She earned her B.A. in International Relations and African/African American Studies from the University of California, Davis. Prior to joining DP&F, Allison litigated antitrust and consumer cases. She also counseled business owners in transactional matters including commercial leases, contracts, business formation, and employment law.
Allison is Chair of the Sonoma County Bar Association’s Intellectual Property and Business Law Section.Â

Genevieve Burch serves as Principal Counsel, Intellectual Property at the University of California, Office of the President. Her practice focuses on trademark, copyright, and related issues. Before joining UC, she spent 13 years working in the wine industry. She has also worked in-house at technology companies, including Apple and Cisco. She began her legal career at Morrison & Foerster. She obtained her undergraduate degree in engineering from Stanford University and her law degree from UC Berkeley.

Joy Durand is an attorney in Dickenson, Peatman & Fogarty’s Intellectual Property Group. Her practice focuses on developing and managing U.S. and international trademark portfolios including trademark clearance, prosecution of applications for registration before the United States Patent and Trademark Office, and enforcement. Joy also has extensive litigation experience representing clients in federal court and before the Trademark Trial and Appeals Board.  Joy earned her Bachelor of Science degree at Saint Mary’s College of California, her Master’s degree in Business Administration from Sonoma State University and her Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law.
