Mr. Ajayi is a certified specialist in workers’ compensation law as certified by The State Bar of California, Board of Legal Specialization. With over two decades of experience in the workers’ compensation arena, Mr. Ajayi began his career in 2003 as a non-attorney Hearing Representative for a small to medium sized law firm in Southern California representing employers, third-party administrators, and insurance carriers in workers’ compensation claims.
From 2003 to 2008, his vocation in the industry mainly focused on lien negotiation and litigation both from a defense perspective and lien claimant perspective. In 2009, Mr. Ajayi’s focus in workers’ compensation insurance defense as a non-attorney Hearing Representative expanded to include handling lien negotiation(s), lien litigation, and case-in-chief issues and litigation.
In 2015, Mr. Ajayi matriculated to Trinity Law School where he earned his law degree while continuing to work fulltime as a non-attorney Hearing Representative. After gaining admission to the California State Bar in 2018, he continued working for a workers’ compensation insurance defense firm until he established his own law firm, Ajayi Law Group, which also represents the interests of employers, third-party administrators, and insurance carriers in workers’ compensation claims. Mr. Ajayi currently serves as the Chair-Elect for the Orange County Bar Association, Workers’ Compensation Section.
Rodman Martin has been a workers’ compensation applicant attorney since 2009. He received his Juris Doctorate from Santa Clara University School of Law. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. Before joining the Law Office of Jon Marlowe, Mr. Martin represented injured workers as an attorney and partner at Ivancich, Martin & Costis from 2009 – 2018. Mr. Martin is a Board Certified Specialist in Workers’ Compensation Law by The State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. He also served as a member of CLA’s Workers’ Compensation Executive Committee. Mr. Martin is also a certified mediator, a member of CAAA, and has volunteered through the workers’ rights clinic for the Asian Law Caucus in San Francisco.
