Affordable housing is in the news! The lack of housing, the price of housing, and the increase in persons who are homeless all flow from the lack of affordable housing. All real estate attorneys should know something about affordable housing.
This presentation will discuss:

- How is affordable housing structured, developed, and financed?Â
- Who lives in affordable housing?Â
- How is affordable housing managed and operated?Â
- How is affordable housing different from non-affordable housing?Â
This will be a general presentation for non-specialists in the area but something every real estate attorney should know!

Many Mansions is a nonprofit affordable housing and service provider located in Thousand Oaks, California. Many Mansions develops affordable housing rental apartments for low-income individuals and families in Southern California and is the leading provider of supportive housing in Ventura County.
Rick received his law degree from UCLA School of Law in 1986 and his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin in 1983. He is also a licensed California Real Estate Broker.
