COMPANY AFFILIATES AND OTHER CONSTITUENTS

When an attorney represents a business entity (such as a corporation, a limited liability company, or a partnership) in a legal matter, the entity is the client. Nevertheless, certain affiliated or related persons or other entities might be involved in the matter. In which case, the attorney should be aware of potential duties and obligations that might be owed to such affiliates and other constituents.
