Ms Belous is the founding partner of her law firm in Los Angeles which specializes in media, tech & IP law. Her background also includes a broad business/corporate legal background with in-depth experience in business affairs, corporate governance, marketing, production/licensing, portfolio management, consumer products, famous brands, privacy and media regulation.
Prior to forming her own firm, Ms. Belous served as the General Counsel of Stan Lee’s POW! Entertainment where she oversaw the legal and business affairs of the company primarily related to the trademarks, licensing, digital issues and related intellectual property matters. She was key in managing the team resulting in having a billion-dollar lawsuit dismissed, and organizing the various IP and content mastered by the infamous and legendary Stan Lee.
Ms. Belous is a member of the California and New York bars and a CPA. She is an active speaker & contributor on intellectual property law and, has been featured in Trademark Lawyer Magazine and on Fintech.TV, is a frequent contributor to Licensing International, and been featured twice in the Los Angeles Daily Journal. She is so passionate about brands she founded the platform known as “The Trademark Channel” which educates consumers on brand management and trademarks.
