Jennie Wang VonCannon is a technology trial lawyer and advisor with a proven track record of success in both the courtroom and the boardroom—with over two decades of experience and deep understanding of corporate defense in both criminal and civil contexts, cybersecurity, and intellectual property matters. She regularly conducts internal investigations for corporate clients on issues including cybersecurity compliance, fraud, revenue recognition, and allegations of sexual misconduct. She is a certified AI Governance Professional (AIGP) and served for over eleven years as a federal prosecutor, culminating in her selection to serve with distinction as the Deputy Chief of the Cyber and Intellectual Property Crimes Section of the National Security Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Central District of California. During her tenure, Jennie prosecuted a Chinese national who stole billion-dollar trade secrets of a medical device company who was apprehended on an airport jetway on his way back to China.
Jennie is a Certified Information Privacy Professional, a founding member and former chair of the Los Angeles County Bar Association Privacy and Cybersecurity Section, and the President-Elect and life member of the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles.
Sanjesh Prabha Sharma, Assistant General Counsel, Patents at Johnson & Johnson Surgical Vision, Inc., supports the company’s laser eye surgery and digital health equipment and diagnostic portfolios.Â

 She has broad experience in IP litigation, freedom to operate clearances and opinion work, global patent portfolio management, including patent prosecution through all phases before the USPTO and PTAB, post-grant practice (IPRs in US and EPO Oppositions), due diligence for asset acquisition and IP licensing, and negotiating and drafting global IP licenses. Her representative industry experience includes medical devices, pharmaceuticals (small and large molecules), computer software, and consumer electronics.
