MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIR
AUTHOR*
Stephanie J. Joseph
I’m honored to serve as chair of the Labor and Employment Law Section’s Executive Committee this year.
By way of introduction, I grew up in a small farming community in Tennessee. A union job at a tire factory lifted my family into the middle class and gave my father a path off the farm. Education gave me a path beyond the factory. So it’s no surprise I became a union-side labor and education lawyer; those values run deep for me.
