Chair Report

Hello, ELS Members.

I am excited to announce the Environmental Law Section Officers for the 2025-26 term:

Peter Ton with Ton Law P.C. has served in the Officer positions of Vice Chair and Secretary, and as Co-Chair of the Environmental Law Conference at Yosemite^®. Peter and all of the incoming officers have dedicated many, many hours of their time and expertise to ELS, and I look forward to a great year under their leadership.

Thank you to our outgoing Executive Committee members Marisa Choy and Verne Ball for their service the last three years.

It has been a pleasure serving as your Chair, especially getting to know many of you at our programs and monthly Chair’s Corners.  The Chair’s Corner will return in November with Peter in a slightly updated format – stay tuned.
