Are you planning on taking the legal specialization exam this year? Are you new to workers’ compensation and looking for a comprehensive review of workers’ compensation law? If so, you should sign up for Workers’ Compensation Boot Camp 2025. Boot camp is a two-day webinar program providing a solid foundation in California workers’ compensation law. The program is specifically tailored to cover all topics appearing on the workers’ compensation specialization examination in October 2025. However, the program is open to everyone wishing to solidify their workers’ compensation practice.
If you haven’t considered taking the workers’ compensation specialist exam, you should. Why is legal specialization important? Three reasons:
- It is the only way that you can advertise to your clients that you are a certified legal specialist.
- It is a clear demonstration of your experience, expertise, and knowledge.
- It forces you to study your area of practice in depth, which in turn makes you a better lawyer.
The boot camp will cover the topics of claims evaluations, practice and procedure, medical treatment, disability evaluation, and professional responsibility. Within those topics the speakers will go in depth, detailing permanent/temporary disability issues, UR/IMR disputes, affirmative defenses to compensation, pre-trial/trial/post-trial issues. The list goes on, but the point is this: of all the CLE, this program will deliver the most information for your dollar.
