DEAR IP SECTION MEMBERS,
I’ve been attending the IP Institute for years now and every year I am reminded why I love the practice of IPâthe intersection of technology and law gives us an everchanging practice full of new and fascinating developments. A happy side effect of this is that it means that every year the Institute is packed with curious minds and fascinating people ready to talk about IP law. This year our conversations had a unique focus on AI, which is far from surprising given how impactful it is as a technology. For those of you that I had the good fortune to meet at the Institute, it was an absolute pleasure. If you didn’t have the chance to join us, I hope we’ll see you next year! Keep an eye out for the webinar package of the presentations at the Institute, this year was filled with not-to-be-missed panels focused on topics that will improve your practice.
I want to thank all those on the planning committee for the Institute for the work they put in to make the event a reality. Organizing an event like this can be a herculean task and their unbelievable efforts made the Institute a reality. I would also like to thank the CLA Staff for their work at the event itself.
