Announcing Public Law eNews Extra

Earlier this year, our annual Public Law Section (PLS) member survey overwhelmingly revealed that members want more Section communications in electronic form versus paper.  In response, the PLS Executive Committee is moving select versions of the Public Law Journal to an electronic format.  Moving to electronic format also allows the PLS to provide members with special writings outside of the normal scope of the Public Law Journal.  The Executive Committee is pleased to kick off a new benefit to our members:

The Public Law Section eNews Extra.

The eNews Extra, starting with the issue that you’re reading right now, is our new home for articles of special interest that better fit outside the PLA Journal. We are very pleased that Dean Erwin Chemerinsky has provided his article, “Unconstitutional Coercion” for this first edition of the Extra. We hope you find his article thought provoking and we look forward to your comments.

We don’t have a specific publication schedule for the Extra. If you have an article that you like to be considered for publication in the Extra, please send it on to us on PublicLaw@calawyers.org.
