SSF Friends,
If you are like me, it seems like 2019 started just a couple of months ago. But here we are at the end of the year and, dare I mention, the beginning of the holiday season. Looking back now, I find it amazing what the Solo and Small Firm Section has accomplished under our now former Chair, Renee Stackhouse.
Having just been sworn in as SSF’s new Chair, I am thrilled to take the reins in an effort to continue the fantastic growth SSF has enjoyed this year. This upcoming year look for SSF to roll out new education programs in partnership with other sections and bar associations, diversity initiatives, membership benefits, and outreach to underserved communities. This month, SSF is partnering up with L.A. County Bar Association’s SSF section for the first time to put on “The Small Firm Practitioners Toolkit,” a 4 hour general and .5 Legal Ethics MCLE program on Saturday, November 23, 2019, at LACBA. Click here to find out more about the program and to register.
SSF is constantly striving to provide our community with the resources they need to be successful. We welcome your input and always your involvement. Keep up with us in our periodical The Practitioner, on the CLA website, and of course, the Solo Advisor. I look forward to an exciting year and serving you. #WeAreSSF.
Don’t forget to follow us on social media: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn.
Your Chair,
Sabrina L. Green
