ANTITRUST AND UNFAIR COMPETITION Law Mentorship Program
The Antitrust and Unfair Competition Law Mentorship Program is geared toward the professional advancement and support of antitrust and unfair competition law practitioners in California. The Program matches mentors and mentees based on their responses to questionnaires designed to assess applicants’ career goals, areas of interest, and relevant experiences. Participants in the Program must be members of the Antirust and Unfair Competition Law Section or law students who have an interest in these practice areas. The program pairs newer attorneys with more experienced attorneys to provide the following benefits:
For mentees. Newer attorneys can expand their network, develop meaningful professional relationships, gain valuable knowledge and insight into the profession, or even successfully transition from another field into practicing antitrust and unfair competition law.
For mentors. More experienced attorneys can contribute to the professional development of new attorneys, develop their own communication and leadership skills, identify potential new hires, and experience the value of giving back to the profession.
The Section especially encourages diverse attorneys to apply to the Program. Building a diverse and inclusive profession is an integral part of our mission to build, retain, and maintain quality and culturally sensitive legal services to an ever-increasing diverse population. Please see Diversity, Equity and Inclusion for more about CLA’s initiatives.
