Review: 2019 Spring Conference

The 2019 Real Property Law Section’s 38^th Annual Spring Conference (formerly the Real Property Retreat) was held May 2 – 5, 2019 at the Hyatt Regency in Newport Beach.  Thank you to everyone who spoke at, sponsored, or attended the Spring Conference.  This event would not be possible without you!

The weekend’s activities started on Thursday evening at the Welcome Reception.  The continuing education programming began on Friday morning with Judge Kimberly Knill from the Orange County Superior Court and Justice Eileen Moore from the Fourth District Court of Appeal speaking about civility in the courtroom.  Over the next two days, the Conference featured over forty-five educational panels covering subjects ranging from ethics to leasing and land use.  Friday evening featured the Diversity Reception, which included a range of food options from around the world.  And to top that off, on Saturday evening there was a bourbon tasting and Comedian Josh Sneed.
