LAW SCHOOL OUTREACH
AUTHOR
Amy Spivey
The Taxation Section held its first law school outreach event at the firm of McDermott Will & Emery in San Francisco on October 27, 2022. The inaugural event kicks off a new initiative from the Taxation Section to connect with law students interested in tax. At the event, nearly 30 law students attended to network with attorney members of the Taxation Section to discuss careers tax. Executive Committee member Saba Shatara also shared a few remarks to those in attendance about the work of the Taxation Section and the benefits of membership to law students and new attorneys.
The Taxation Section wants to thank Troy Van Dongen and McDermott Will & Emery for hosting such a successful event.
