LETTER FROM THE CHAIR

I want to first say thank you for taking the time to read our publication, and being a part of our solo and small firm community. As this is my first publication in my tenure as SSF chair, I’d like to take this chance to quickly shine a light on what our 2024 looks like, and how we are moving forward as a powerful and enlightened section.
As we navigate a changing landscape and look toward revitalizing our section, the essence of personal connection and community stands out as a beacon. In this issue, we delve into revamping the solo and small firm section, emphasizing in-person events and a return to our roots.
We look forward to highlighting the importance of our involvement and support with solo and small firm practitioners across the state. Our section’s history is rich with volunteerism, education and outreach in our effort to continue to build and support the largest contingency of attorneys in California – the solo and small firm practitioner.
