Loyola Law School Student Michaela Goldstein Wins Public Law Student Writing Competition

Each year, in order to further its mission of analyzing important legal issues unique to public lawyers and recognizing the contributions of public law attorneys, the Public Law Section sponsors a Student Writing Competition. The winner of the 2016 student writing competition is Michaela Goldstein, a third-year student at Loyola Law School.

Ms. Goldstein’s article, "The Anomalous Result: California Higher Education Student-on-Student Violence" is a thoughtful exploration of the potential expansion of workplace danger laws to educational institutions on students’ behalf. Ms. Goldstein received her award at the State Bar Annual Meeting in San Diego on September 30, 2016.
