These suggestions are drawn from three sources: the experience of the faculty of the National Institute of Trial Advocacy (NITA), which for over forty years has identified what practicing lawyers lack and has found ways to improve skills; from years of seeing my own and others’ mistakes in various courtrooms; and from teaching law students.
