Not every day do you get invited to attend the signing ceremony of an international treaty and witness a historic event in your professional field. So, when the government of Singapore invited me to attend the signing ceremony of the United Nations Convention on International Settlement Agreements Resulting from Mediation (known as the Singapore Convention) on August 7, 2019, I was thrilled.
