Report from ILTACON
By Jeff Bennion, Esq.
In late August, Las Vegas hosted the International Legal Technology Association Convention, or ILTACON. ILTACON lasted four days and provided attendees with over 200 educational sessions on topics including cybersecurity, cloud computing, Windows 10, iPads for lawyers, and practice management software, to name a few. For those who were not able to attend, a good portion of the event was audio recorded. The audio recordings and the written materials are available for download on ILTAâs website here.
Unlike most legal trade shows, ILTACON intentionally limits the number of vendors who present, in order to allow practicing attorneys to hear from other practicing attorneys how to implement legal technology into their practices. In fact, one of the themes of the conference was âPeers helping peers.â
