Developing, training, and retaining associates can be a challenging and time-consuming process that draws focus away from cases, clients, and business development. However, it is vital to the strength and longevity of any law firm. The process is a two-way street, requiring a commitment from both the associate and the firm. While an active mentoring program may not immediately generate revenue, it enhances the firmâs work product and promotes team building.
