The legal profession, much more so than most, has always been known for its high-stress environment and culture. It is a profession that is deeply rooted in tradition and has been slow to adapt to the increasingly stressful environment of the practitioner, particularly in the 21st century.

Now more than ever, attorneys are dealing with increased workloads, greater time pressures, burnout, depression and lack of balance in their life. This increase workload and demand on time has resulted in unprecedented workplace stress and a drain on personal energy.
