Ms. Malkani has helped hundreds of employees establish better working conditions, negotiate severance and post-separation packages, as well as obtain fair and just compensation through enforcement of state and federal laws. She is Chair of the Labor & Employment Law Section’s Executive Committee.
Greetings! The fall is typically a time of change and new beginnings: schools and colleges open, the weather turns, and pumpkin spice once again inundates us. This issue also marks the beginning of a new term of leadership and programming from your Labor & Employment Law Section.
It is truly an honor and a privilege to begin my term as Chair. Joining me in our collaborative leadership team are Vice Chair Scott Stillman, Secretary Kevin Hosn, Treasurer Anne Giese, and Immediate Past Chair Deborah Maddox. We are guided and supported in everything we do by CLA staff in the form of the amazing Tiffany Creswell, our Section Administrative Assistant. This stellar group, together with all the Members and Advisors who comprise the Executive Committee, and together with Managing Editor Phyllis Cheng and the Editorial Board of this excellent publication, are incredible in their intellect, skill, and tireless dedication. Perhaps most importantly, they are genuinely a lovely group of individuals. Our newest Executive Committee Members are highlighted in this issue, so please take the time to read these pages and "meet" them.
