INTRODUCING
BARBARA S. BRYANT
Barbara Bryant has been a full-time neutral for the past 13 years, serving as a mediator, workplace investigator, and discovery referee. Prior to that, she was a plaintiff-side litigator for 17 years specializing in employment, sexual harassment, discrimination, and retaliation law. For the past 25 years, she has taught the Sexual Harassment Law course at UC Berkeley Law School. She has written and spoken extensively on discrimination, harassment and mediation topics. After law school, she was a federal law clerk for Judge Marilyn Hall Patel in the Northern District of California.
Ms. Bryant currently serves on the board of Equal Rights Advocates. She previously served on the executive boards of the Thelton E. Henderson Center for Social Justice, University of California, Berkeley, School of Law; California Women Lawyers; Alameda County Bar Association; Earl Warren Inn of Court; Alameda Contra Costa Trial Lawyers; the Bar Association of San Francisco, Labor and Employment Law Section; and the Administration Committee, Alameda County Superior Court.
Ms. Bryant holds a B.A. from the University of California at Berkeley, an M.S.W. from California State University, Sacramento, and a J.D., with highest honors, from Golden Gate University School of Law.
