Dear Section Member:
It’s been a few exciting months since the IP Law Section became part of the California Lawyers Association (CLA). One of our Section’s first challenges (indeed, one of the CLA’s first challenges) was annual membership renewal now that our Section is no longer part of The State Bar of California. It was with great anticipation that we awaited seeing how many individuals would renew their section membership (and by extension, their membership in the CLA) via the State Bar of California’s 2018 Fee Statement. As of early March, the CLA as a whole had 42,346 members renew and, as of this writing, the IP Law Section has 6,231 members.
