By now you are tired of your email inbox and your smartphone being swamped with requests to accept new privacy terms that are supposed to be compliant with the new privacy regulation of the European Union (and the three other countries in the European Economic Area1). "GDPR" (for "General Data Protection Regulation"), as it is commonly known, expands the definition of personal information and companies’ responsibilities for such information.2
