JEFF KOONS IN COURT. AGAIN. INSPIRATION OR PLAGIARISM?

Either Jeff Koons or his lawyers really like the courtrooms in Paris. Once again, Jeff Koons was in front of a French court to defend against copyright infringement and plagiarism claims.1 Once again, the Tribunal de Grand Instance in Paris found against him.2 In November 2018, the Court in Paris found that Koons, more than thirty years ago, had infringed the copyright of the plaintiff by "copying" a photograph from an advertising campaign of a French company conceived and realized by the marketing director.
