Sherry Peterson
At the 2016 State Bar Annual Meeting, FLEXCOM conferred its Family Law Lifetime Achievement Award on Commissioner Sue Alexander of Alameda County. What follows are remarks by Sherry Peterson upon giving the award, and Commissioner Alexander’s comments upon receiving it.
Commissioner Sue Alexander
The Family Law Lifetime Achievement Award is an award rarely given out. It is intended to honor and recognize distinguished long-term achievements and sustained substantial contributions to the substance or practice of family law in the State of California over a recipient’s career or lifetime. It was a great honor for the Family Law Section of the State Bar of California to confer the 2016 Lifetime Achievement Award to Commissioner Sue Alexander from Alameda County.
