Rita Lin is a partner at Morrison & Foerster LLP. Her practice focuses on defense of consumer class actions and enforcement actions against financial services companies. She is Chair of the California State Bar’s Consumer Financial Services Committee. The Recorder named her among its 50 "Fast Track" lawyers for 2012 and The Daily Journal named her to its list of 100 "Top Women Lawyers for 2012."

The Consumer Financial Services Committee is a diverse group of attorneys representing the financial services industry and consumers in areas involving consumer finance—including credit cards, auto lending, deposits, mortgage lending and servicing, credit unions, debt collection, consumer bankruptcy, and the like. The committee includes in-house counsel, law firm attorneys, consumer advocates, and academics. The committee’s goal is to educate attorneys and consumers about important emerging issues in these areas, and to foster a rational and sustainable system of laws and regulations concerning consumer financial services.
