Legislative Update – Consumer Financial Services

The following is a listing of 2015 bills impacting consumer financial services. It is not intended to be exhaustive. Moreover, only those bills noted as chaptered have been enacted into law. This article examines the distinctions between "existing law" (the state of the law existing before enactment of the bills discussed herein) and "new law" (the changes reflected by the bills discussed herein).
