As we start 2024, the Real Property Journal has many achievements to look back on and an exciting year ahead. Before we discuss the future, I would first like to thank our authors who made this 2023 omnibus issue possible.

First, many thanks go to our long-term contributor Star Lightner who again provides us her Top Ten Real Property Cases of 2022. Star’s excellent reprise of these cases (and the runners up) is always a great way to start the new year.

Mary Howell brings us her vast experience in community association law in her excellent article "The Basics of Community Association Repair Obligations." As a board member of an HOA, Mary’s article opened my eyes to many issues that were literally close to home.
