About Daniel M. Goldberg
Daniel M. Goldberg is a partner at Frankfurt Kurnit Klein & Selz, where he chairs the Data Strategy, Privacy & Security Group. Daniel advises on a wide range of privacy, security, and AI matters, including compliance with consumer, business, and HR datasets. He has played a key role in guiding companies through complex data governance, risk management, and regulatory challenges.
Daniel’s expertise spans from handling high-stakes regulatory enforcement actions to shaping the application of privacy laws, including some of the first public actions under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). He is well-versed in advising on data monetization strategies, negotiating contracts involving sensitive data, and tackling the evolving risks posed by AI.
As a CIPP/US and AIGP certified attorney, Daniel has authored hundreds of articles on privacy law and is a frequent speaker at industry events. He is also highly engaged in the privacy community, having held leadership roles at IAPP, IAB, and IAA.
