Membership FAQ
I used to be a member and want to join again. What steps do I need to take?
If you have an existing account on our website, sign into your account and follow these steps:
- Click the Login link on https://calawyers.org/ to login to your account.
- In the top right corner, hover over “My Account” and Click on “My Profile”
- On the left hand side, click on “Memberships” and then “Join CLA”
- Follow the prompts and you’ll be all set.
Should I upgrade to an All-Access plan?
If you have five (5) or more sections, the All-Access Plan will save you money and give you access to everything CLA has to offer – including digital access to ALL section publications!
I’m a law student. Which offering will work best for me?
As a law student, you are eligible for a free membership and join up to three Sections for free (the Standard membership). To take advantage of this offer today, join here.
Does CLA offer membership discounts?
CLA offers discounts to members or prospective members employed by the government (at any level—federal, state, municipal) and to individuals employed by nonprofit organizations. Get more information here: [Membership for Government Employees].
Does CLA offer complimentary membership to judges and judicial officers?
Yes, only with sign-ups directly on our website. However, if you would like to pay for your membership, there will be an option to do so.
