We are excited to announce several upcoming educational conferences we have been working on, in addition to great MCLE articles.
Registration is open for the 2019 Orange County Legal Tech Conference, on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at Santa Ana College, 1530 W. 17th St. (Bldg. A), Santa Ana College Legal Studies Department, Santa Ana, CA 92706. We will be promoting two tracks, Track 1: Practical Application of Tech for Law Professionals which will cover such topics as eCompetency, the āmeet and conferā on electronically stored information, the new California Privacy Act (CCPA) and responding to data breaches and Track 2: Law and Technology for the Legal Professional, which will focus on technical subjects like cyber security, project management and aspects of the EDRM. The LPMT would like to offer its sincere condolences to Kevin Mooney, a colleague, friend, a litigator, speaker and former ExComm member who has recently lost his 31-year-old son to a brain tumor. A GoFunMe has been set up to help his wife and children navigate life without him.
