Message from the Chair

Last month the LPMT, in conjunction with Santa Ana College hosted the 2^nd Annual OC Legal Tech Conference in Santa Ana. We are pleased to report that we received great feedback about the program and speakers. If you were not able to attend and would like to see what you missed, the presentations will be available on our site very soon.

Nothing says summer like downtown Huntington Beach in June. Don’t miss this opportunity to spend 3 days in sunny SoCal and earn MCLE with an array of short, to-the-point CLEs on a number of topics important to successfully managing “The 21st Century Law Firm.”  We are excited to announce that three of our members will be speaking on various topics. Moreover, during the evening receptions, you can build your network by interacting with peers, CLA leaders, and conference presenters.  The Summit is from June 13-15 in Huntington Beach.  Check out the brochure and don’t forget to register.

In addition to these events, we are working diligently to produce a high-quality newsletter for our members. We are always seeking articles on developing trends or newsworthy topics, so if you have an idea for an intriguing article, please be sure to let us know so we can work with you to get it in print. This is a wonderful opportunity for you to market yourself and your practice, as well as to provide helpful information to others.

Also this year, the LPMT will be looking to expand its social media footprint. As you likely know, the LPMT has Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter accounts. We are hoping to increase our number of followers, so please follow us, like us, repost our posts, and share them with your professional colleagues.  We are always looking for ways to make the LPMT more beneficial to its members.
