Message from the Chair Deborah Maddux

I am pleased to be taking on the role of Chair of the Section’s Executive Committee.  You will hear more from me in the upcoming issue of the Law Review. For now, welcome to the fall season with its cooler weather and anticipation of the holidays.  During this time, the Section’s Executive Committee is busy planning the upcoming year.  We held a productive virtual meeting on October 10th where we discussed long range planning for Outreach, Diversity, and Mentorship to ensure the continued success of on-going projects and programs.  We are also working diligently to ensure virtual access to our flagship programs, such as the New Employment Lawyer Conference in January, and the Public Sector Conference in April.  And, be sure to take advantage of our gift to you – access to free bias training in the month of December – both to satisfy MCLE credits and in recognition of the importance of diversity, equity and inclusion.
