Labor and Employment Law
Message from the Chair Deborah Maddux
As we move into summer and an exciting return to normalcy, the Labor & Employment Executive Committee will be working closely with CLA to determine when and how we can safely return to in-person programming. In the meantime, we continue to bring you many online options for continuing education while maintaining focus on our important grants and scholarships, mentorship, and diversity initiatives.
It is not too late to register for this week’s “Pathways to Careers in Employment and Labor Law” program on June 9, 2021. The program will focus on the Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA). For more information see here.
Also, registration is now available for the 37th Annual Labor and Employment Law Section Annual Meeting next month. Don’t miss out. Check out the great programs which will include NLRB updates, a panel discussion about strategies to stay healthy and balanced as legal practitioners, and the intersection of employment law and bankruptcy law. For more information about all of the panel offerings, see here. To register, click here.
