The California International Law Journal is currently accepting applications from ILS members for two open executive editorial board positions. This is a great way to become more involved with the ILS and the international legal community, as well as to contribute to one of the CLA’s premier publications. We are growing rapidly and need your involvement!
Marketing Director: The Marketing Director is responsible for marketing and publicizing the Journal; soliciting advertising for the Journal; and working with the Editor-in-Chief and Managing Editor to develop strategies to increase our readership and profile. The Marketing Director must be skilled in marketing and advertising, as well as developing partnerships with individuals and organizations, and must be able to formulate creative ideas for promoting, raising awareness about, and increasing readership of the Journal. The Marketing Director must also have excellent organizational, communication, and management skills.
Articles Editor: Articles Editors are responsible for working with authors to edit submissions, including providing recommendations as to organization, structure, and areas for additional research and commentary; making final edits to articles, including line edits, Blue Booking, etc.; and making final recommendations as to article edits and issues to Editor-in-Chief and Managing Editor. Articles Editors must have significant writing and editing experience, as well as excellent organizational, communication, and management skills.
