Dear IP Section Member, 

If I have learned one thing from the practice of law, and communications generally, it’s to never bury the punchline: The Copyright Office Comes to California on May 16, 2024. It’s not too late to register. 

After you register for that fabulous event, you will want to next register for The Patent Office Comes to California, on June 4, 2024. For that equally fabulous event, you can reserve your spot today.

After you have registered for both, you will realize, perhaps, that these conferences, like most, are indoors. You will ponder wellness, being outdoors, enjoying the company of equally adventurous and curious IP attorneys. And, as you do, you will want to next sign up for our Dipsea Trail Wellness Hike, on May 18, 2024.

Besides getting a great workout (one of the many benefits of a 10-mile hike) and learning about wellness best practices, you will get a sneak peek into the findings of our DC Delegation (April 29-May 1, 2024), before publication in the Fall issue of New Matter. We’ll also discuss new developments at our Interest Groups and our next Annual IP Institute, scheduled for March 6-9, 2025, in Long Beach, California.
