The Real Property Law Section’s monthly discussion of new real property cases, featuring an interview with a real estate lawyer and announcements of upcoming RPLS events.

It’s FREE!! Plus, it qualifies for attorney self-study MCLE credit.

This month, hosts Neil Kalin and Michael Simkin will discuss the following recent cases of interest:

• Homeless removal – Is it constitutional for the government to remove homeless individuals from public property?
• Homeless injunction – Should a civil injunction against a homeless individual be stayed pending criminal action?
• HOA discrimination – Does a Christmas display violate HOA rules, or are the rules discriminatory?
• Non-compete agreements – Is a non-compete agreement valid in the partial sale of a business?
• CEQA claim – When must a CEQA appeal be filed?

Plus, we will interview Mark Guithues, an HOA attorney extraordinaire and the incoming Vice Chair of the Real Property Law Section.
