Webinar: The End of Life Option Act: How it works in the real world

Please share:

August 18, 2020 @ 12:00 pm 1:00 pm

This program offers 1 participatory MCLE credit; 1 Legal Specialization in Estate Planning; Trust & Probate Law.

The End of Life Option Act (EoLOA) became law in California in June 2016.  Although simple on its face, implementation of the law can be complex.  Explore the key provisions of the EoLOA that must be followed in order to fall under its protections.  Discover the practical and ethical considerations that may impact a healthcare provider or an organization’s participation in the EoLOA.  Identify who is availing themselves of the EoLOA, how the process can break down, how to keep the process on track, and alternatives for alleviating suffering at the end of life.  Learn how you can advise your clients with respect to the EoLOA.

Speakers: Paula Goodman-Crews and Judy Thomas
